We had the pleasure of attending a screening of one of the episodes from the powerful Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland documentary series, the event was hosted by the BBC in association with the Education Authority. Our CEO Roisin Marshall took part in a panel discussion with the audience after the screening. With a packed studio we discussed how important it was to hear the stories and experiences of so many people. We talked about the valuable way the series can help us all understand more about our shared history and how as educators we might use elements of the documentary to help young people and future generations see how far we have come. We look forward to working with the BBC, the Education Authority and other partners on this exciting project.
